Hi there,
I work for a company where I help them design and build solutions in our private cloud and in AWS. Since our company doesn't have a team of dedicated SysOps engineers, I and another colleague end up building what we design. I've already passed AWS Solutions Architect cert. So I'm wondering if it is OK/necessary for me to sit for the SysOps Admin cert as well? The exam blue print looks interesting and makes me want to just go out there and test myself. :)

Any thoughts?

emkayd, thanks for your comments and congratulations on earning AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Level. Our certifications are elective, so you have the option to also take other exams. Having an additional certification validates your expertise in working with the AWS cloud in different ways. The SysOps Administrator exam tests technical skills in managing and operating apps on the AWS platform, and you will find the knowledge qualifications for that exam in blueprint.
