This will save time as we currently use an external monitor to alert us of availability issues and then the AWS console to see if an RDS event is the root cause. We would also like to see (1) replica creation started (2) replica creation completed (is this covered by the availability notifications?) and (3) disk storage array raid rebuild - the latter is something which requires us to open support tickets every time we suspect disk i/o related performance issues.

Is there a way to complete this action currently via PowerShell? I was certain to update to the latest version, but I couldn't find an RDS cmdlet similar to the .Net API's CreateEventSubscription. Can someone verify? Maybe I overlooked it?
