This is pretty cool as it finally allows you to secure custom password protected applications with the same hardware key fob as well. One simply needs to check if temporary security credentials can be provided using a user's key fob MFA and then grant access to a custom application. You may add security by checking if a certain file can be loaded from S3 etc.
