Over the years we have found that user groups are great audiences for our Amazon Web Services Presentations. The attendees are often personally motivated to learn something new, and the Q&A is typically extensive.
We've recently added three new evangelists to our team -- one in Japan and two in the United States. Our new US evangelists -- Mike and Jinesh -- will have the opportunity to introduce themselves via this blog sometime next week.
In the meantime I wanted to let you know about the talks that they've scheduled for the next month or two:
- October 5th - Winnipeg, Canada - Winnipeg .Net User Group
- October 7th & 8th - Los Altos, California - Silicon Valley Code Camp
- October 16th - Chicago, Illinois - Chicago PHP User's Group
- October 16th - San Francisco, California - CSC Leading Edge Forum
- October 17th - Mishawaka, Indiana - Michiana .Net User's Group
- October 18th - Chicago, Illinois - Chicago .Net User's Group
- November 7th - San Francisco, California - Web 2.0
- November 11th - Edina, Minnesota - Twin Cities Code Camp
- November 14th - Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Florida .Net Users Group
- November 15th - Washington, DC - Washington D.C. Linux User's Group
If you run or are a member of a PHP, .Net, Perl, Java, or Linux user group in the US or Europe and you would be interested in hosting a talk by one of our evangelists, please send a note to awseditor@amazon.com .

PS - During the long, dark (and did I mention wet) Seattle winter, invitations to speak in warm, sunny locations will be given top priority....
